Susan Lynne McCormick-Our sister but so much more

Hi everyone,

I think we are all in shock right now from the update Sue had from the doctors yesterday. I personnally felt numb the entire evening, but by morning, Sue's spirit lifted me up and I was ready to battle this cancer thing with her. Her biopsy last week confirmed the tumor in her lung is malignant and is the size of my fist. She stated the doctors are claiming it is a stage 2 adonocarcenoma (spelled right?) or basically "non-smokers lung cancer" and will consult with the doctors on Wednesday to determine the surgery date and procedural plans. She is taking it really well and with her attitude and spirit, she will fight this thing tooth and nail. (Sue knows no other way).

This blog was set up in order for Sue to update us all on her progress since it can become exhausting to repeat yourself 100 times a day. For now, pray hard and ask God to take 100% control of this situation. HE has a plan for her and I pray that the plan is to have the cancer removed with a clean bill of health and from that experience she becomes an advocate for cancer research.
BTW, Sue was a baseball player with wings this morning for Halloween.
She is one an amazing person. :-)
Love,
Matt
